How to Track Your IGCR Application on ICEGATE

Once you apply for IGCR registration or submit a request under the Import of Goods at Concessional Rate Rules, the next important step is tracking its status. ICEGATE (Indian Customs EDI Gateway) provides an online system to monitor your application so you can stay updated without visiting customs offices.

1. Log In to ICEGATE

Start by visiting the official ICEGATE portal (www.icegate.gov.in).
Use your registered username and password linked to your IEC. If you haven’t registered, you’ll need to complete the one-time sign-up using your IEC, GSTIN, and mobile/email authentication.

2. Go to the IGCR/EScrip or eSANCHIT Module

Once logged in, navigate to:
Services → IGCR / eScrip / eSANCHIT / Bonds Section
Depending on your application type, you may find it under “e-Services” or “Concessional Duty” options.

3. Use the Application Reference Number (ARN)

Every IGCR application generates an:

Application Reference Number (ARN) or
Request Number / Job Number

Enter this in the tracking section. This instantly fetches the status.

4. Check Status Updates

The portal reflects the current stage, such as:

Submitted
Under Processing
Query Raised
Approved
Rejected
Pending Clarification

If customs has raised a query, it will also show in this window. You may need to upload documents or respond through the same portal.

5. Track via Document Status

You can also check:
Services → Document Status → Enter IEC + Date Range + Document Type
This helps you monitor acknowledgment, approval, or query alerts.
